Insurgent is the second film in the Divergent trilogy, based on the novels of the same name by Veronica Roth. The prequel Divergent was in cinemas last year and the final film Allegiant is due for release in 2016. All three films take place in the same futuristic version of Chicago. Divided into five different factions based on social affiliations, these societal boundaries are designed to prevent independent thought by citizens.
I wanted to install some speakers in the kids upstairs “playroom”, because until now any music they wanted to listen to was from their ipods and portable stereos. Officially rebranded “The Oscars” in 2013, The Academy Awards is the annual American awards ceremony honouring cinematic achievements in the film industry. The 87th Oscars were awarded last Monday 23rd February (AEST) in the famous Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with a televised program handing out awards to those recognised for outstanding performances both in front of and behind the camera.
