DisplayPort cables are similar to VGA cables; they are used to mirror or extend a laptop display onto another computer, a TV, or a separate monitor. These are useful for sending your computer screen signal to a projector in a home theatre setup. All DisplayPort cables support 4K and multi-stream capabilities, as well as High Bit Rate and HBR2. This allows you to connect up to four 1080p displays simultaneously. Both male and female DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort plugs are available, with lengths including 15 cm and 20 cm. Longer VGA cables are available, however it is highly recommended to use an extender kit when sending signals over long distances.
