Jersey Boys is a well-known story that many are familiar with. Originally a musical biography about the formation of the Four Seasons back in the 60’s, this wildly popular Broadway cult hit has now found its’ way onto the big screen.The story of four young men led by frontman Frankie Valli, together with Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio and Nick Massi, displaying a revealing insight into their rise to fame, the personal clashes, tough times and how their music came to symbolise a generation.

We witness the tough side of the streets in their native New Jersey, where extraordinary challenges confront the group as they strive to make it in music.

The original musical play premiered in November 2005, winning multiple Tony Awards after its stint on Broadway. Portraying the history of the Four Seasons in four parts, each part is narrated by a different member of the band from their own perspective. Jersey Boys has been running internationally on stage ever since, with many sell-out performances around Australia.

The movie adaptation of the play has been directed by Clint Eastwood and has a soundtrack that will have your toes tapping. Including track after track of favourites such as: “December 1963 (Oh What a Night)”, “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk like a Man” and many, many more, Jersey Boys will have children of the 60’s reminiscing and everyone else wishing that they were children of the 60’s.
