Onkyo 5.1 Compact HD Home Theatre System

Movies and games look amazing on modern widescreen TVs, but let's face it, your TV's speakers leave a lot to be desired in the audio department. That's where the HTX-22HDX steps in.

In its 5.1-channel configuration, the HTX-22HDX.5.1 gives you a subwoofer with built-in AV receiver, a centre speaker and two front speakers for stunning mid and high-range audio, plus two rear speakers for surround sound.

Three HDMI 1.4a inputs on the back of the sub allows you to hook up to three devices (eg: Bluray player, PS3/Xbox360 and pay-TV box). HDMI 1.4a is compatible with 3D video and also lets you run an Audio Return Channel from your TV's tuner back to the sound system.

The HTX-22HDX.5.1 handles HD formats from DTS and Dolby; employs quality Burr-Brown DACs for all channels; and includes Onkyo's very own Theater-Dimensional. A new on-screen display (OSD) makes it easier to adjust settings on the fly, so you can get back to the action sooner.

3-Emitter Infrared Resources 240V IR Repeater Remote Control Extender Kit

WORKS WITH FOXTEL!

IR Remote Control Extender Kit
This is an all-in-one IR extender kit from Infrared Resources. It allows you to remotely control 3 infrared devices without direct line-of-sight. For example, if your Foxtel box, Blu-ray player and CD player are hidden away in a cabinet, you can use this system to control them. Many infrared extenders don't work with Foxtel, but the Infrared Resources systems work great!

Includes:
- IR receiver
- Triple IR emitters
- Power adaptor

The System Explained
The IR emitters send out the infrared signals to the devices which you want to control (eg: Foxtel box, Blu-ray player, CD player, etc), so the emitters should to be positioned on or near those devices. They feature self-adhesive backs so you can stick them directly onto the devices for the best signal transfer. The power adaptor should be connected to a wall outlet (we also stock a USB-powered version of this kit which can be powered directly from your TV's USB port). The emitters and the power adaptor should both be connected to the IR receiver. The IR receiver is the part which you point your remote control towards, so most people position it near their TV. Once it's all connected together and turned on at the wall, it's ready to go!

Cable Lengths
- IR emitters: 3 metres (8 metre extension available separately)

IR Filtering Technology
Infrared systems are susceptible to interference caused by everything from fluorescent lighting to plasma TVs and even sunlight. This system is designed to block out infrared interference (IRI), compact fluorescent lamp interference (CFL), electro-magnetic interference (EMI), electro-static interference (ESI) and interference from plasma TVs and sunlight. This means problem-free usage for you!

Need To Control More Devices?
You can use a splitter cable to connect even more emitters.
