Clarus Aqua audio cables provide the same unique performance features found in Clarus Crimson products, but are designed with slightly smaller wire gauges. Like the Crimson line, Aqua cables feature a multi-gauge design using three different-shaped conductors - each individually insulated - resulting in superior bass, midrange and high frequencies for superior imaging and maximum definition across the sound spectrum.
Sound clarity is enhanced through the use of ultra-low-distortion PCOCC conductors. The use of precision-formulated polyethylene (PE) insulation results in low loss, superior imaging and maximum sound definition. No other audiophile-grade cables on the market offer the patented design breakthroughs and sound reproduction of Clarus Aqua.
Clarus speaker cables are designed in a flat configuration. In typical round speaker cables the plus and minus are twisted together causing phase distortion to the audio signal. In flat speaker cable design the plus and minus conductors are in a parallel configuration. This design eliminates phase distortion and improves sound quality and imaging.
The overall large gauge conductors lower the cable's resistance and provide higher current capability resulting in an increase in dynamics and improved low frequency performance. Lowering the inductance and the resistance makes it easier for the amp to drive the signal down the cable. Sonically, the sound is smooth and fluent as well as more dynamic.
