This classic speaker cable design features the 2 separated cores adopting reverse stranding to offset electromagnetic interference.

High Purity Silver-Plated Copper
This cable is made from high purity silver-plated copper. Each conductor is stranded in opposite directions to offset electromagnetic interference.
Depending on the quality of your speakers, silver-plated copper cables can add additional dimension to the higher frequencies in your audio. Silver has higher conductivity than copper, so the plating results in more harmonic content of the signal being retained and passed to the speakers, and ultimately, to the listener.
