Engineered for low noise signal transmission, the 28AWG digital signal conductors are precision twisted and have three layers of shielding. The connector is protected with a "Full Metal Jacket" steel shell covered with double-sided copper foil to protect from EMI and RFI interference. Boss elements provide a firm connection, keeping the connector seated in your electronics. eARC is a much more robust audio delivery system than the original ARC. eARC supports 5.1 and 7.1 systems as well as 32 channels of audio and eight channels of 192 kHz, 24-bit uncompressed 38Mbps data streams. It also supports DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Atmos, eARC can deliver a substantially improved surround sound experience with more immersive and nuanced audio.

This portable handheld UHD generator and analyzer will process a 40Gbps HDMI signal of 8K/60Hz with 10-bit colour and 4:2:2 colour sampling. In addition, the Fresco Six-G/A also tests the recessed pin #19: Hot Plug Detect. We confirm HDMI standard and HDCP 2.2 compliance of every cable.
When a source and sink are connected the Display Data Channel (DDC) line communicates the EDID information and a HDCP handshake takes place. This handshake is required at start-up and is repeated continuously; if there is an error, the system will stop operation. All Tributaries UHD HDMI cables are designed with low capacitance on the DDC line to ensure error-free performance.
