Perfection can take time

Krix speakers are usually made-to-order in South Australia, with construction beginning once your order has been placed. This process ensures great attention to detail is applied to each and every speaker, but it can also take time — sometimes around 2 weeks.

The Volcanix boasts a generous 305 mm bass driver coupled with the innovative Krix Digital Subwoofer Amplifier (KDSA) incorporating core ICEPower® amplifier technology to deliver effortless chest thumping bass with precision and control. The front mounted LCD control panel permits maximum flexibility and aids easy adjustment. Volcanix – Experience extreme bass.

Designed completely in-house, (though it does use the ICEPower® module at its core), Krix's new Digital Subwoofer Amplifier (KDSA) has had extensive R&D placed on its performance and functionality. Through the use of high performance Class-D amplifier technology and front-mounted control panels with a backlit LCD display which fades away in brightness after 45 seconds, all adjustments can be done quickly and effectively by removing the front grille and scrolling through the menu options and pushing the buttons to make your selections. No more worrying about pulling your subwoofer out of joinery and risk scratching your sub, or pulling out a lead out from the wall in order to make changes whilst holding a torch in one hand and trying to read writing that’s upside down! Volcanix - experience extreme bass!

The basic criteria for a subwoofer is to reproduce very low frequency energy. Krix’s range of subwoofers do just that. The range features paper cone drivers for high level low frequency reinforcement, clipping protection and automatic switch on circuitry when a signal is detected. Complement your stereo or home theatre system with a subwoofer to experience a cinema performance in your own home.
