Introducing Selby's updated X-Dimension (XD) series in-ceiling speaker range. The new MkII version now features a modern frameless design with magnetic grille and upgraded components resulting in an improved frequency response and audio clarity.

The XDS6205MkII features a pivoting 1" aluminium dome tweeter and an angled 6.5" glass fibre cone woofer to deliver refined, 2-way sound around your home & in your home theatre. The angled woofer and pivoting tweeter allows more options of placement and location.

15° Angled Woofer

This model features an angled woofer, which allows the speaker to be placed in a wide range of positions and project the sound out towards where you want. When installed, an angled speaker looks the same as other in-ceiling speakers, it is only the inside parts that are angled.

Raise Your Home Theatre Experience

For a discreet home theatre system, angled speakers are perfect for your front LCR channel speakers (left, centre, right). The angled drivers project the sound to where you are sitting, while regular in-ceiling speakers (ones that point straight down) would be perfect for your rear surround speakers.

With a compatible receiver, adding just 2 height channel speakers to your existing home theatre setup can bring a whole new dimension to Dolby Atmos movies and TV shows. Just like at the cinema!

Pivoting Tweeter

The X-Dimension series angled speakers feature a pivoting tweeter design, allowing fine adjustment for delivering optimum audio to the listener's position. The 1" aluminium dome tweeter on the MkII version provides accurate, extended high frequency sound up to 22 kHz.

Additionally, the baffle mounted switches allow for adjustment of the bass & treble frequencies (+/- 3 dB) allowing you to fine-tune once installed.

Glass Fibre Cone Mid/bass Woofer

The 6.5" glass fibre woven cone woofer provides an elevated sound character compared with polypropylene cone speakers, featuring improved stiffness for a more refined sound. The improved components of the new MkII version extend the frequency response down to 40 Hz.

Additionally, the baffle mounted switches allow for adjustment of the bass & treble frequencies (+/- 3 dB) allowing you to fine-tune once installed.

2-Way Crossover, Gold-plated Terminals

On board the X-Dimension series MkII you'll find a 2-way 12 dB/octave crossover with mylar capacitors and iron core inductors. Four dog leg mounts offer a quick and simple installation, meanwhile spring-loaded, gold-plated speaker terminals provide confident signal conductivity and are easy to connect to speaker wire.
