The L-Series was developed using Scansonic's experience from their popular M & MB-B series speakers, but specifically with budget in mind. The Scansonic L-Series, therefore, aims not only for great sound but also value for money. The enclosures of the L-Series are rear ported and deliver rich sound with smooth authentic bass.

Construction

Bigger speakers for Australian homes! All drivers in the L-Series speakers are mounted to a 15mm front baffle helping to create a tighter soundstage. Magnetic fabric grilles are included to finish the look.

The Scansonic L Series speakers come in 3 finishes; a stealthy home theatre style Theatre Black, a gorgeous classic Walnut, and a light modern lifestyle look in textured White.

Scansonic L20 Floorstanding Speakers Pair

The L20 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker pair, featuring a 1" silk dome tweeter, a 5.25" midrange and three 6.5" bass woofers. This full range speaker system provides you with an excellent price to performance ratio, rewarding you with deep and rich bass which adds great weight to your music or other entertainment. These speakers are also great performers in home theatre applications, due to their excellent range and bass performance.

Scansonic L10 Centre Speaker

The L10 is a dedicated two-way centre channel speaker, featuring a 1" silk dome tweeter and twin 5.25" mid/bass woofers. The size of the L10 makes it ideal for placement in TV unit shelves or front and centre in a 5.1 system.

Scansonic L On-Wall Speakers Pair

Part of the Scansonic HD L-Series, the L On-Wall speakers share the same core technology with 25 mm soft dome tweeters in combination with 100mm bass/midrange drivers. The slim enclosures allow for easy placement in a home cinema setup where space is limited, but without compromising sound quality.

The L On-Wall speakers are perfect for surround channels in a 5.1 or 7.1 system. These loudspeakers are designed as versatile and budget-conscious multipurpose speakers for home theatre applications.

Scansonic L12 SUB 12" Subwoofer

The L12 SUB is a 200 watt, 12" active subwoofer with adjustable cross-over and bass extension. The cabinet is matched to the rest of the L-Series family in your choice of Theatre Black, White or Walnut vinyl wraps with circular magnetic grille. The L12 SUB also features auto-standby and signal pass-through.

The L12 SUB allows adjustments for Crossover Frequency, Bass Extension, and of course Volume, so you can get the perfect amount of rumble from your films and music. There is also an RCA out connector for daisy-chaining multiple subwoofers together!

About Scansonic HD

It would be impossible to introduce Scansonic without first mentioning Raidho. Having worked with Raidho speakers for more than 12 years, this Danish group of engineers and designers found themselves facing a completely new challenge when they were tasked with creating a new range of high-performance speakers for the Scansonic brand.

From the start, Scansonic's team were dedicated to building on all the experiences and strengths obtained from designing the Raidho speakers. At the same time, they also had to be aware of the long heritage and the Nordic design tradition of the Scansonic brand. The ultimate goal was to create the very best possible speakers within reasonable financial limits.
