The dual speaker outputs can be switched on and off individually with the switches at the front. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 series has been comprehensively redefined in both design and user interaction. The chassis adopts a more horizontally extended structural design, with the standard version measuring 388 mm × 265 mm × 88 mm (L × W × H)

On the front panel, a new 8.6-inch artistic display is introduced, combined with an all-new UI system, delivering clearer and more intuitive information presentation. Compared with the previous generation, both the interface hierarchy and operational logic have been further optimised, making music browsing, playback control, and system management feel more natural and fluid.

In terms of interaction experience, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 introduces richer visualised playback expressions, including VU meters, dynamic spectrum analysis, and multiple artistic interface styles. Refined Core Architecture, Enhanced Performance

At its core audio architecture level, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 continues its well-proven design approach, combining the AK4191EQ digital processor with the AK4499EXEQ DAC. This configuration adopts a separated digital processing and analog conversion architecture, allowing audio signals to be processed and reconstructed with greater precision at each stage.

Paired with a fully balanced analog preamplifier architecture and an R-2R volume control system, it ensures stable dynamic performance and natural tonal layering across different volume levels.

The DMP-A8 Gen 2 supports native DSD512 and high-resolution PCM playback up to 768 kHz/32-bit, providing full support for high-resolution audio sources. Meanwhile, improvements have also been made in distortion control and dynamic performance, with THD+N as low as 0.000075%, and SNR and DNR reaching up to 129 dB, allowing even the finest musical details to be rendered with clarity and ease.

Building on its mature sonic foundation, the DMP-A8 Gen 2 is also equipped with a brand-new 64-bit high-performance octa-core main processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Its music library scanning and indexing capabilities have been further enhanced, enabling the structural analysis and organisation of up to 200,000 tracks in approximately 2 hours. Whether for large-scale music library management, multitasking scenarios, or future feature expansion, the system provides ample performance headroom, while delivering a smoother and more responsive user experience.

Each component plays a dedicated role. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 pairs the AK4191EQ digital processor with the AK4499EXEQ DAC, allowing each stage of the signal path to be optimised for maximum precision.

"The essence of this Vincent combination is refined musicality. It goes about its music-making business in a subtle yet involving way that's really quite charming on its own terms. The brand has acquired a cult following among cash-strapped audiophiles, and listening to the SA-32/SP-332 you can see – or indeed hear – why. Tonally it's pretty smooth and even, with just a touch of silk up top and warmth down below. In the midband things aren't too in your face, but there's still a good degree of detail. It conjures up a nicely capacious soundstage and has a good reserve of power allied to decent dynamic headroom. The overall impression is of an affordable pre-power that does a lot of things really rather well."

A fantastic power amplifier improved

The SP-332 is an enhancement of the hugely popular SP-331, which upgrades it with higher quality inputs at the rear and dual speaker outputs. The dual speaker outputs can be switched on and off individually with the switches at the front. This allows you to easily set up two pairs of loudspeakers, perhaps in two different rooms, to listen to. There are unbalanced RCA inputs on the rear, as well as balanced XLR inputs. This makes the SP-332 compatible with a huge range of preamplifiers. Select which input you're using with the switch on the back.

The best of two worlds

The SP-332, with its hybrid design, combines the advantages of both vacuum tube and transistor amplification. Valve amplification provides the classic warm tone that audio enthusiasts crave. Combined with transistor solid-state technology, the result is a power amp that is efficient in terms of power consumption, and in sound is timelessly rich. This is a main amplifier with little competition and one that never loses control when working with even the most demanding of loads.

Inside, two 6N16 tubes working in differential push-pull form the input stage, giving the sound signal its classic warmth and richness. In the transistor output stage, there are 8 large FET transistors available for the final amplification. These generate 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms - enough power to effortlessly drive even the most critical speakers.

A power amplifier that meets modern AV needs musty be powerful yet delicate. Capable of reproducing everything from airy voice and acoustic instruments, to the strength and punch of a huge musical piece. 

Backed by plenty of power

In the power supply, a 500W toroidal transformer provides the power necessary for constant. Elcos with a capacity of 80,000 µF "buffer" them. Transferred to the sound creates a "dry", powerful and deep bass fundament. The stabilization of the voltage is handled by a 6N15 tube.

Looks as good as it sounds

At first glance immediately recognizable - the new VU meters on the front panel. The color backlight and the status LEDs can be switched between red, blue, green and white using a sliding switch on the back.

Minimalistic Design

Ribbon Tweeter

The M-series models feature ribbon tweeters. These high-performance tweeters promise an extremely fast, vivid and wide frequency response, allowing for an exceptionally open and detailed sound at the top end of the frequency spectrum.

Ribbon tweeters have a much lower moving mass compared with traditional dome tweeters, allowing them to respond more quickly and accurately to high-frequency transients.

It was clear to Scansonic from the very beginning, that some core techniques from the Raidho speakers would be of great importance: The speakers had to be designed around a ribbon tweeter that works with at super lightweight diaphragm that is sealed around the edges to allow for a seamless transition to the midrange region.

4-Material Honeycomb-Enforced Cones

The new M-series speakers' midrange/bass drivers use a specialised 4-material honeycomb-enforced cone to achieve a delicate balance of strength, rigidity, and elasticity and providing an open and three-dimensional midrange, along with a cleaner, faster bass with a more significant punch and attack.

The drivers also provide excellent internal damping, allowing them to better absorb distortion from split vibrations, leading to a smoother frequency response curve.

Through rigorous testing and refinement, these multi-material cones contribute significantly to the M series’ renowned speed, clarity, and overall musicality.

Developed Specifically for Audio

Utilising Tributaries Twin-Axial cable design with dedicated conductors of equal impedance for positive and negative signals the Series 2 RCA cables will benefit the performance of any unbalanced analogue audio system. The light weight and flexible design provides easy installation.

Conductors are insulated using Polyethylene because its transparency is similar to Teflon but without the harshness in the high
