After years of development on the popular debut DMP-A6, Eversolo have returned with some refinements for the all new DMP-A6 Gen 2. Effective Media Management System

The DMP-A6 offers a robust media management system that enables editing operations for local hard drives and network storage like copying, copying, pasting, cutting, and deleting. The USB port can be configured as USB OTG, making it easy to connect the PC to DMP-A6 for local file management. Internal SMB sharing function allows sharing of media files from a connected mobile device or internal SSD (if installed) to other media playback devices, computers or mobile devices in the same network. This makes it possible for the DMP-A6 to be used as a network storage device to share audio sources at any time.

Dynamic Power, Detailed Presentation

The Eversolo AMP-F2 is a 2 channel class D power amplifier, designed in collaboration with Starke Sound in California, and is based on the innovative NS600 module created by the Starke Sound team. The AMP-F2 features a high sampling rate of 600kHz and employs an efficient Class D amplification structure, coupled with optimised circuits to maximise audio quality. A newly designed SAPS audio-specific switch mode power supply significantly reduces noise and enhances dynamic performance. The AMP-F2 is also bridgeable, allowing flexible configuration for two channel or single channel setups.

Vigorous Output

The AMP-F2 is equipped with Starke Sound's NS600 amplifier module. Each channel can output a constant 250W RMS (4ohms) @ 1% THD+N. When bridged the AMP-F2 can support up to 450 W RMS (2ohms) with THD+N still below 1%. This ability to handle extremely low-impedance loads ensures ample energy even in large and challenging speaker setups, particularly during high-dynamic low-frequency outputs.

Aluminium Body, Shielded Design

The AMP-F2's chassis is made from aluminium with complete self-protection and an anti-interference design to avoid disturbances from various electrical environments.

The AMP-F2 is also designed to perfectly match the size of the DMP-A6, DMP-A6 Master, and DAC-Z8. IT is also compatible with the DMP-A8 and DAC-Z6.

One-touch Activation, Seamless Control

The AMP-F2 is equipped with standard 12V TRIGGER IN and TRIGGER OUT functions, allowing it to be synchronised with other devices that support the standard TRIGGER interface for power on and off; using the USB to TRIGGER adaptor cable provided with the AMP-F2, you can connect the USB Type-A interface of the DMP-A6 to the TRIGGER IN of the AMP-F2 to achieve synchronisation.

The L14 is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker pair, featuring 1" silk dome tweeters and dual 6.5" mid/bass woofers. This speaker system provides you with an excellent price to performance ratio, rewarding you with deep and rich bass which adds great weight to your music or other entertainment. These speakers are also great performers in home theatre applications, due to their excellent range and bass performance.

Introducing the L Series

The L Series was developed using Scansonic's experience from their popular M & MB-B series speakers, but specifically with budget in mind. The Scansonic The L Series, therefore, aims not only for great sound but also value for money. The enclosures of the L Series are rear ported and deliver rich sound with smooth authentic bass.

Construction

The L14 speakers use a special paper cone material to achieve the optimum stiffness and damping for the cone size. The woofer is flanked by a high-performance tweeter to give you great performance at this price. The cabinet has been heavily braced and the increased thickness of the walls means that undesirable resonances are kept under tight control.

The Scansonic L Series speakers come in 3 finishes; a stealthy home theatre style Theatre Black, a light modern lifestyle look in textured White and a classic home hi-fi vibe in Walnut.

About Scansonic HD

It would be impossible to introduce Scansonic without first mentioning Raidho. Having worked with Raidho speakers for more than 12 years, this Danish group of engineers and designers found themselves facing a completely new challenge when they were tasked with creating a new range of high-performance speakers for the Scansonic brand.

From the start, Scansonic's team were dedicated to building on all the experiences and strengths obtained from designing the Raidho speakers. At the same time, they also had to be aware of the long heritage and the Nordic design tradition of the Scansonic brand. The Series 4 Star-Quad Speaker cable begins with ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Two 12AWG speaker conductors are the result of combining 16AWG and 14AWG conductors opposite each other in a 4 conductor Star-Quad speaker arrangement.

In the Star-Quad design, Magnetic distortion is cancelled by twisting strands clockwise and then wrapping the bundles counter-clockwise around one insulated large solid conductor.

Developed Specifically for Audio

It is important to understand that music passing through the speaker cable, is actually an AC voltage, so when voltage passes through twisted wire, there will be additional magnetic fields. Tributaries Star-Quad design not only alternates the positive and negative signal conductors but also alternates the twisted lays in each multi-gauge conductor. Alternating lays cancels all levels of magnetic distortion. The end result is a neutral sounding cable.

Star-Quad Geometry

Tributaries Series 4, 6 and 8 speaker cables all include a StarQuad design. Star-Quad speaker cables are designed with four conductors, all wound together, in a "positive, negative, positive, negative" configuration. The cable is produced such that all 4 wires are evenly twisted together keeping each conductor the same distance from the centre and ensuring each positive conductor is next to each negative conductor. The net result is the cancellation of opposing electromagnetic fields generated by each conductor pair. This design improves the system’s performance by preventing EMI noise from entering and distorting the signals in nearby low level audio, video or digital cables. Another benefit of the Star Quad design is the reduction of the cable’s inductance, again, improving the cables electrical performance and reducing the distortion it produces.

Each Conductor is a solid single gauge wire chosen to support multiple frequencies and to prevent grainy distortion caused by stranded wire. All Series 4 audio cables are assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. These bagged cables do away with fancy retail packaging to save you money.

Developed Specifically for Audio

Tributaries' Twin-Axial design features dedicated conductors with equal impedance for positive and negative signals. Each conductor is wrapped with dual shielding to keep noise from reaching the single path. The Series 4 RCA cable is a high performance cable that looks as good as it sounds.

The conductors are insulated using Polyethylene because its transparency is similar to Teflon but without the harshness in the high frequencies. Polyethylene is flexible and has a sound quality that is warm and balanced. The shields have 360° coverage to keep noise from entering the signal path.
