A CD-player that masters even the most subtle differences in sound. Let yourself be impressed during a listening test.
The CD-S7 is Vincent's flagship CD Player. Its sonic excellence begins with the processing and ends well beyond the sound reproduction.
Solid production and construction and using many of the same high-quality components as in the CD-S7 DAC. This CD player simply cannot be beaten.
Although this is the little brother to the CD-S7DAC, a lower quality of sound is not to be expected.
- Hybrid Tube & Solid State Processing
- State-of-the-art components
- Analog & Digital Outputs
- The successor to the hugely popular CD-S6
- Headphone output for personal listening
- 12V Power Control for central control

The characteristics of valve amplifiers have been known for a long time. Their sound has supporters in the world of hi-fi devices and performance amplifiers. Despite their popularity and the unique sound that comes with them, transistors are much more robust and durable as amplifier components. Even in audio source devices, there are amplifier circuits and with these too, the sound can be greatly improved by sophisticated amplifier circuitry. Today this approach is taken by only a few select manufacturers. Vincent is proudly one of these manufacturers.
The analogous signal is processed in a fully balanced manner. All signal lines are provided with their own filter and own amplifier unit. This improves the sound clarity and increases the dynamic range. The CD-S7 would not be located in the tubeLine if no vacuum tubes were used. It uses 2 tubes of the type 12AX7 in the signaling pathway. The sound becomes warmer and silkier in essence through this, however, it will not have a washed out effect or display any obscurities in the sound. Transparency and spatiality will be clear after the first note of your music.
Vacuum tubes in hi-fi amplifiers are highly revered, and a sign of high manufacturing quality. Vincent takes their visual aesthetic just as seriously as the performance of their products. Because of this, Vincent has included a tube-viewing port on the front panel of their tubeLine products. With a switch on the back, you can switch the backlight on or off.
In addition to the high-quality stereo RCA outputs, for connecting to a digital amplifier, a digital coaxial output is included. A high-quality 1/4" output allows you to make use of the processing benefits of this player, and hear it in clear detail in your favourite headphones.
Components of well-known manufacturers, gold-plated tube sockets, and gold-plated connections round off the overall picture of the CD-S7.
In order to read out the digital signals of a CD, the Sanyou Chip DA11 is used. The software for this has been developed on its own and stands for a secure reading of all the CDs. However, this complexity is relatively of less use, if the signal is not further processed well below. The PCM1796 of the trademark Burr-Brown functions as D/A-converter. The result: clear better sound with even clear better dynamics as well as improved decoder-precision (24bit, 192 kHz).
Vincent has also taken a look at the supply of power and voltage and made improvements again. A new oversized toroidal transformer always provides sufficient services, and a 6Z4 tube ensures the stability in the voltage.

Vincent is a German brand and manufacturer of Class-A Hi-Fi equipment. SInce 1995, Vincent has stood for continual development to 2-channel stereo in the high-end class.
The CD-S7 is the perfect match for the rest of Vincent's tubeLine range!
Shown below is the CD-S7, integrated with the SA-T7 Pre-Amplifier and two SP-T700 Power Amplifiers.
With all your Vincent appliances working together in harmony, controlling them all is painless with the “Power Control” connections on the rear. These allow the amp to respond to turn-on and turn-off signals from other devices in the signal chain.
