This handy device allows you to remotely control you 30-pin iOS devices, such as your iPod, iPhone or iPad*. Using RF technology rather than IR (infrared) allows the remote to work without the need for 'line of sight', so you can use the remote around corners or through walls etc up to 35m away. A great practical use example of this is you can conveniently control your music without taking your iOS device out of a backpack or bag.

While the transmitter device is powered by your iOS device it also features a USB port to supply power through to your device since the trasnmitter device plugs in to the 30-pin connector. Also for devices which have their headphone socket on the bottom which the transmitter might block - such as the iPod nano - the transmitter features it's own dedicated headphone output.

The remote control unit features buttons for volume up, volume down, play/pause, skip track (forwards), skip track (backwards), shuffle, and repeat. The remote control unit is battery powered (battery is included) and also comes with a cover pouch and neck strap.
