Under the leadership of Frank Blöhbaum, who is the developer of the Thorens electronics and the Auto-Bias control of the T.A.C. tube amplifiers, the circuit design was completely revised and improved.
In the output stage section, various changes have been made. These changes provide a much better transient response to complex loudspeaker loads. This means that when playing back music, which is at its core, patterns of transient responses, the improvements can be heard by simply listening. The musicality and sound reproduction are much better than its predecessor. Even the most difficult loudspeakers can be powered easily without sounding strained.
The preamplifier section is fitted in its second stage with 6N1P vacuum tubes. The greater voltage level provides better signal stability. This results in a higher spectral purity of the signal and a further improvement in the fine details of sound. With this integrated amp, the musicality and classic "warm" richness that only comes from vacuum tubes are maintained.
Vacuum tubes in hi-fi amplifiers are highly revered, and a sign of high manufacturing quality. Vincent takes the visual aesthetic of their products just as seriously as their performance. Because of this, Vincent has included a tube-viewing port on the front panel of their tubeLine products.
The SV-237MK can be operated in Class A mode. Outputting 10W of power per channel in this mode, it has a crystal clear sonic characteristic and completely eliminates harmonic distortions. Class A mode is a feature typically seen in high-end power amplifiers, and rarely seen on integrated amplifiers. Vincent has cut no corners with the SV-237MK.
An advantage of the improved circuit design is a greatly improved signal to noise ratio. It results in an excellent playback quality even on the most critical loudspeakers. Enjoy explosive live performance and orchestration as a result of excellent dynamics. Moreover, the volume control has been finely adjusted so the level can be set precisely using remote control.
Selecting your source and adjusting your sound couldn't be easier with this unit. With plenty of both analogue and digital connection options, this integrated amplifier is perfect for hooking up a CD player or DVD player for a truly spectacular stereo experience.
With the stereo Pre-Out connections, this unit can be used as a dedicated pre-amplifier, to be connected to a separate power amplifier.
With the Rec-Out connections, it can be bridged to the "Line-In" connection on another device.
A feature that's now expected from Vincent's integrated amplifiers is switchable tone controls. The front of this unit features controls for the treble and bass, which can be bypassed with a single button for the direct sound.
