From the beginning, Kaleidescape’s founders had envisioned the day when the Internet would be fast enough that movies could be downloaded to the home and stored on the system's hard drives, eliminating the need for physical media without sacrificing quality. Their original vision came to fruition in 2012, when Kaleidescape launched an online movie store.
