Tips for Better Reception
Digital TV can be a funny beast. It tends to either work perfectly or not at all. Unfortunately, there is no "silver bullet" or guaranteed "cheap fix". Sometimes it takes a little trial and error of different solutions to find the one that best suits your specific location. If you have a good strong signal, a decent indoor antenna will generally be fine. If you have poor reception you may need a full-on roof-mounted antenna. In extreme circumstances, you may need to get a professional installer to measure your signal strength and install the perfect antenna.
This Antenna is Designed for Areas with Good Reception
You can check your predicted signal strength by inputting your address at the My Switch website. This will give you a good indication of how strong the signal will be at your address. Note that it may still depend on tall buildings, trees, etc, in the way.
Pointing Your Antenna in the Right Direction
This is important, too. There are a couple of handy apps for iPhone/iPad or Android which can help you locate your broadcasting tower.

Attenuation
If you're having issues with your digital TV signal, one possibility is that you have too little or too much "gain". If the gain strength is too strong, you can use an attenuator to reduce it to an appropriate level. This antenna features a built-in attenuator. If your gain strength is too weak, you may need a booster instead. We recommend consulting an antenna professional to identify any problems you're having with your antenna setup.
