Hercules is tested when the desperate King Cotys of Thrace and his daughter seek his help in defeating a ruthless warlord Rhesus, who is threatening to push the kingdom into chaos. Experiencing a crisis of confidence, Hercules must gather his strength as the son of Zeus to be the leader that the kingdom’s people expect of him. He
must emerge as the hero he once was, he must accept his own myth and he must be Hercules. Dwayne Johnson's extremely muscular version of Hercules is visually impressive, and fits with the continuous action style of this film. Although predominantly fighting scenes, there is also room for some "cheesy" tongue-in-cheek humor through a soundtrack of heavy martial themed music. Hercules is now showing in cinemas nationally.
