The Avico Outdoor Speaker packs from Selby are an ideal addition to your outdoor entertaining area. Featuring the essential equipment needed to hook up a sound system either indoors or outdoors. Including two sturdy water resistant speakers, a universal mounting bracket which swivels up to 180 degrees for that perfect listening position, a 2 speaker wall plate, and 25 metres of speaker cable.
Just connect these to your existing stereo amplifier or home theatre receiver. These days, most Amplifiers and Receivers allow connection of an extra pair of speakers which can be used outdoors or in another room. There's a couple of ways these work.
Entry level Receivers such as our Onkyo TXSR309 tend to have a simple A/B switch which let's you choose to listen to music in either area or both at the same time.
Higher end amps such as the rest of the Onkyo range have full dual zone capability. This means the kids can be inside watching a DVD while the parents are outside listening to music, perfect! Many top of the range amps actually allow 3 full zones!
If your receiver does not have any extra speaker facilities all is not lost, we can still hook you up with a simple speaker switch which will allow you to get that second zone humming.
