Keystone Infrared IR Receiver for Remote Control Extender System
This keystone IR Receiver features a solderless terminal block on the back side. It is intended to be wired to cat-5 or cat-6 cable and is ideal for concealing IR distribution systems in a home theater. This connector fits into any keystone style wall plates.
Receiver is powered from your IR distribution system.
IR keystones operate off 12 VDC and include three connections on their rear:
- IR output signal
- +12 VDC
- Ground
Compatibility
Please note that these keystone inserts are compatible with standard keystone wallplates. They are not compatible with our range of custom wallplates.
Bluetooth?
Some remote controls now use Bluetooth instead of infrared. Please note that Bluetooth remotes are not compatible with this infrared receiver. This infrared receiver only works with infrared remote controls. If you're unsure, please feel free to email or call our friendly experts.
