Dual Band In-Wall Infrared IR Receiver
This Dual Band IR Receiver Wall Plate receives IR signals from a handheld infrared remote control and relays it to a Home Automation System or an IR Extender System, which you can use to control your AV equipment from another room. The IR Receiver Wall Plate should be mounted to a standard single gang electrical box.

This allows you to control devices that are hidden away (ie. in a cabinet, cupboard, or in another room). Please Note: This listing is only for the IR Wall Plate. It is not for an entire system.
The cable you will need for connecting the IR Receiver Wall Plate to an IR System's Connecting Block is a 2 Twisted Pair wire, for example you could use Cat5 / Cat6 (network cable) or standard telephone wire.

Bluetooth?
