This speaker wallplate pack includes all the wall plates you need to run your speaker cables through the walls for a 7.1 surround sound speaker setup (up to seven speakers and one subwoofer). Using wall plates like these helps to ensure your home theatre installation looks neat and professional.
Includes 8 wall plates:
- 1 x 7.1 wall plate (for 7 speakers and 1 subwoofer)
- 6 x 1.0 wall plates (each for 1 speaker)
- 1 x 1.1 wall plate (for 1 speaker and 1 subwoofer)
Suggested Configuration
The larger 7.1 wall plate is for the wall near the AV receiver / amplifier. The subwoofer lead and all speaker cables connect from your AV receiver / amplifier to this larger 7.1 wall plate, then run through the walls (or ceiling, floor, etc) to the other seven wallplates. Each of the other seven wall plates allows you to connect one speaker. One of the seven also allows you to connect a subwoofer.
